First Baptist of Kingfisher

First Baptist Church of Kingfisher is a committed church.
On the foundation of our relationship to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we have made commitments in three strategic areas of ministry:

 A Commitment to the Word
We have made a commitment to make certain that the Word of God is the foundation of all that we preach, teach and practice.  It is our goal to help people understand the Bible as the record of God's relationship with our world and to apply the truths that it contains to daily living.

 A Commitment to Others
We have made a commitment to minister to others, not only to those on "the inside" of our church.  We will do this by being involved in our community, by being good neighbors, but, most importantly, by also sharing with those in our world about how to have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

 A Commitment to Worship
It has been said that one day there will be no more preaching, no more evangelism, no more missions, and no more prayers.  But we will worship forever.  Because worship is an eternal priority, we will prioritize worship as a church.  We will do this in a variety of ways, using blends of styles and methods both old and new, that focus us on a regular basis on the Greatness of God.

First Baptist Church of Kingfisher is a growing church.
God is blessing us with explosive growth in every way imaginable.  We see it not only in the tremendous number of new people who continue to join our family, but in the commitment being made by young and old to study God's Word and to live it out.

Finally, First Baptist Church of Kingfisher is a Southern Baptist church
The Baptist Faith and Message, the Southern Baptist Convention's confession of faith, reflects our doctrinal stance and convictions.  We invite you to click on the link and read it for yourself. First Baptist Church is also affiliated with the Central Baptist Association, a group of Southern Baptist Churches in our area, and the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma.
